Dr. Howard Spero is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the UC Davis Department of Earth and Planetary Science. He is a dynamic speaker who will discuss why Earth’s climate system changes on geologic timescales and how this understanding helps us to prepare for climate change in the near future. This engaging lecture will provide you with a foundation to better understand the global climate challenges we face over the next century.
