IT's time to renew your ufc membership!

The deadline for renewing is Thursday, October 1. 

RENEW TO:

  • Be listed in the printed directory (if renewed by the October 1 deadline)
  • Participate in Interest Sections
  • Have access to members-only pages, including our online directory
  • Register for members-only event

AFTER OCTOBER 1:

  • Single Renewal Fees increase to $65
  • Bundled Renewal Fees increase to $95

The ASUCD Pantry is a student-run, student-led organization that provides food and other basic essentials to UC Davis students and staff who would like support in acquiring food and other basic necessities. THE PANTRY

UFC welcomes donations of goods and financial donations for the Pantry. We will host a donation drive prior to our Candlelight Dinner on December 3. Stay tuned for more details!


INTEREST SECTIONS ARE EACH BEING ASKED TO CONTRIBUTE A GIFT BASKET TO OUR HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER IN DECEMBER. HERE ARE SOME QUICK TIPS:

  • Select a theme representing your interest section, or another such as Spa Day, Tea Time, Cocktail Hour, Chef's Basket, etc.
  • Provide a basket to hold your items 
  • Place items in the basket (no filler, wrap or ribbon is necessary)
  • Include a list of what each item costs
  • Make sure to add the name of your section to your list
  • Baskets will be collected for packaging and pricing in early November
  • Please note that you are not obligated to contribute to multiple baskets if you are in more than one section


A message from ufc president Kathy Coulter

Greetings and welcome to University Farm Circle where we connect campus and community through our mission. As an organization that has a history of more than 100 years, we are excited to continue our support of UC Davis students through scholarships and donations to the UC Davis pantry. We are also thrilled to offer our members opportunities for enrichment and friendship through our more than 80 interest groups and a variety of programs throughout the year. We are volunteer led and depend on our membership to keep us growing as we continue our legacy.



Welcome!

THEN: University Farm Circle was founded in 1914 to bring together the women associated with the University Farm—especially the female staff and faculty wives—to help the young boys at the school.

NOW: You do not need to be associated with the University to be a member. All are welcome!

If you are new to the community or to UFC, we invite you to join any of our Newcomers activities to get acquainted with our area and to meet other women.

Friendship

UFC makes a special effort to welcome Newcomers. It also currently has over 80 active Interest Sections, from A (Antiquing and Art Galleries) to Y (Yoga).

Enrichment

Over 600 members participate in Programs like our Speaker Series, trips, workshops, and annual events like our Fall Reception and Spring Luncheon.

Scholarships

UFC began awarding Scholarships in 1937. Today, we continue to award to qualified undergraduate students at UC Davis.

What Can a $4,700 Scholarship Do?

  • Help pay for tuition

  • Pay lab fees

  • Provide necessities such as rent and food

  • Purchase books and technology

  • Provide a huge boost in self-confidence, which helps the student persevere on their path of achievement

  • Most importantly, save the student hours of work. At $15.00 per hour, it would take approximately 313 hours to earn $4,700. That’s a lot of time that could be spent studying! 

Thanks to generous donations from members and others, UFC was able to give 8 talented UC Davis students scholarships totaling $39,500 in 2025. In addition, we awarded $2,000 scholarships to two Yolo County graduates entering UC Davis.
