Congratulations to this year's scholarship recipients!

CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THEM

new MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY - FAMILY BUNDLE!

You may have heard that we are implementing a new membership level, Family Bundle. This new level includes two adults residing at the same address, and will enable you to have a joint membership at a discounted price. Annual dues for a Family Bundle are $75, whereas total dues for two Individual memberships are $90. One person in the bundle will be designated as coordinator and receive all communications for both members. Both members will have full membership privileges, including participation in interest sections and members-only programs.

If you would like to change your membership to Family Bundle, you MUST first let us know by contacting membership@ufcdavis.org. We will process the change for you and designate you as the Bundle Coordinator. You will then be able to add one member to your bundle. That individual must be an adult that resides with you.

If you wish to switch to Family Bundle membership, PLEASE WAIT TO RECEIVE CONFIRMATION that your membership level has changed BEFORE renewing for the 2025-2026 year.

A message from ufc president Leslie Maulhardt

We’re excited to kick off another year full of opportunities to connect, learn, and give back. As of June 2025, we had over 600 members and 99 active interest sections and were on track to raise about $80,000 for scholarships and endowments. We hope to keep that momentum going by building friendships, sharing knowledge, and continuing the UFC legacy of support for UC Davis students.

Thank you for visiting our website, where you can find event details, membership info, and learn how to pay for dues and programs online. UFC thrives because of its members—people like you. Whether you want to join an interest section, serve on a committee, or simply attend events, your involvement matters. Be sure to indicate your interests on the membership form when you renew or join.

While we all look forward to our new year, let’s remember the original intent of the founding members that we continue to strengthen and support: to assist the students, to welcome newcomers to Davis, and to provide interesting activities for the members. We appreciate your thoughts and ideas of how to keep our members engaged in UFC throughout the year.

Welcome!

THEN: University Farm Circle was founded in 1914 to bring together the women associated with the University Farm—especially the female staff and faculty wives—to help the young boys at the school.

NOW: You do not need to be associated with the University to be a member. All are welcome!

If you are new to the community or to UFC, we invite you to join any of our Newcomers activities to get acquainted with our area and to meet other women.

For more information, email info@ufcdavis.org.

Get ready to have some fun, make some cash, and support Farm Circle scholarships. Last year, this event was an enormous success!

Mark your calendars for Davis' only legal Bingo game, run by the Davis Odd Fellows. All proceeds will be donated to UFC. Fifteen games will be played that afternoon, with cash prizes for the winners of every game - up to $250 for the winner of the final blackout Bingo game. We hope UFC members come out to play! The more players we have, the more proceeds we raise for UFC.

Please note: Only adults (18 and older) may attend, as Bingo is considered legal gambling.

Bingo at the Davis Odd Fellows Lodge is low-impact (not cutthroat) Bingo - it's easy and fun! Even novice players will enjoy it. Bring some friends and celebrate a birthday!

In addition to Bingo, there's a full snack bar with food, drinks, candy, and wine and beer. Free door prizes are handed out all afternoon.

The room capacity is 125 people.  Get there early (doors open at noon) to get a seat!

Cost: $20 for a full Bingo double packet or $12 for a single economy packet. Pay at the door

    Reservation Period: January 15, 2026 - March 8, 2026

What Can a $4,700 Scholarship Do?

  • Help pay for tuition

  • Pay lab fees

  • Provide necessities such as rent and food

  • Purchase books and technology

  • Provide a huge boost in self-confidence, which helps the student persevere on their path of achievement

  • Most importantly, save the student hours of work. At $15.00 per hour, it would take approximately 313 hours to earn $4,700. That’s a lot of time that could be spent studying!

Thanks to generous donations from members and others, UFC was able to give 8 talented UC Davis students scholarships totaling $39,500 in 2025. In addition, we awarded $2,000 scholarships to two Yolo County graduates entering UC Davis.
